Glantine 0 -  2 Rockhill

The juniors were at home to 2nd placed Rockhill on Sunday last. We started brightly & had good chances with Mark Healy & Enda Mulcahy having great one on one chances with the keeper but there goalie made great saves to deny us twice. The visitors took the lead against the run of play after a corner was poorly defended & half cleared. The shot back in was deflected & the Rockhill forward was quickest to react & scored from acute angle. We responded well with James Riordan putting in some great crosses the best of which some how stayed out when Mark Healy was on the end of it but the visitors managed to scramble it clear. 

We had a lot of possession & pressure in the second half but failed to create enough as the visitors sat deep. We put in plenty of crosses & had plenty of shots from distance but not enough of them troubled the big keeper. Rockhill got there ....... Read More
