Over the past 18 months the club has set new goals for the Field development program. It was decided
that a new drainage system and pitch were needed to bring the club in line with the new high standards being set by the other clubs in the League.
A set of goals were drawn up by the committee which we would strive to achieve over a 3 year period if possible. These included:
- Dressing Rooms to be Refurbished............Complete
- New Drainage System to be installed around the grounds..........Complete
- New drainage system for pitch and new surface to be layed..........Complete
- Ducting for floodlighting to be installed around pitch..........Complete
- Floodlighting to be installed.........Expected Completion October 2008 dependant on funding
Work has now begun on the club's new training area near the current pitch. The entire
project is expected to cost in the region of €15,000 to €20,000.
The current work being done could not have gone ahead without the weekly support for our local lotto. We hope that with you're continued support
we can develop our facility into something all the community can participate in and be proud off.
